4,000–7,000 words. Original arguments on questions of lasting consequence for international affairs.

Analysis

1,500–3,000 words. Timely, evidence-based reading of a development and what it means.

Reviews

1,200–2,500 words. Critical engagement with one or more recent books.

  • Upload a PDF or DOCX file of up to 20 MB, with all author names and identifying details removed.
  • Include an abstract of up to 250 words and a short cover letter.
  • Declare any conflict of interest.
